Quality craftsmanship. Quality care.

At Roller Chopper, we believe in doing things right from the beginning. When you choose Roller Chopper, you are not only choosing top of the line quality, but are also choosing to receive great customer service. We work hard to ensure you always have the help and resources you need while building our units with some of the best material in the industry. Roller Chopper outperforms its competitors while keeping our prices well below industry average. We offer full customization on all of our units and each one is built to order. Being ranchers ourselves, we know how important it is to have equipment that you can count on to last for years to come.

Our process:

We use Hardox 500 Steel on all of our equipment. Hardox, also called hard plate, is manufactured and exported worldwide by a Swedish company, SSAB, who developed the first modern wear-resistant sheet in 1974. Hardox is an extremely wear resistant steel meaning it can withstand even large mechanical loads. The material’s high strength enables us to use thinner sheets in the construction without compromising the overall toughness of the equipment. This process cuts down the weight of our units significantly. We also use 3” 4140 steel in all of our axles. This material is aircraft grade steel, made to withstand the harshest conditions. We believe in doing things the right way, which is why we build our units with materials that are meant to last a lifetime… or two.

Their process:

Our competitors use Heavy Gauge steel or DOM pipe. Heavy Gauge steel is a hot rolled steel, which makes it softer, less abrasion resistant, and requires a heavier gauge to make it last – adding more weight to the overall unit. Other competitors also use DOM pipe which is marginally stronger then Heavy Gauge steel but still cannot stand up to the strength of the Hardox 500. Although considered a nicer grade steel then the Heavy Gauge Steel, it just does not have the abrasive qualities needed when going up against rocks and hard woods out in the pasture.
